The McArdle Library of Baileys Harbor is a branch of the Door County Library System.
The McArdle library was established in 1938 through the generosity of Michael W. Mcardle who, in his will, left money to set up a library in what was then the new Baileys Harbor Town Hall. The library originally occupied the room which is now the Baileys Harbor Vistor Center office. The current library was added to the west side of the town hall in 1994. The library today offers full service to adults and children through its automated county-wide system.
