A safe harbor of refuge on the Lake Michigan shores of Door County was the drive behind construction of the Baileys Harbor Town Marina. This Door County marina features first class facilities for power, sail craft or anglers; from dinghy to luxury motor yacht. Four launch ramps allow speedy access to the Lake Michigan waters of Door County for day sailors. Anglers, enjoy a state of the art fish cleaning station after landing the big one! Convenience is a plus as the facility is located in downtown Baileys Harbor.

Town Marina

Baileys Harbor was born from the need of a natural "Port in a Storm" for Captain Justice Bailey in the year 1848. Since that day, the need for a modern day “Harbor of Refuge” along Lake Michigan's untamed waters has been realized. It is out of that need that the year 2000 brought about the construction of our fine new facility, the Baileys Harbor Town Marina.

Whether a pleasure boater on a day sail, the serious yachtsman, angler, or just the opportunity to sit shore side and enjoy the sensational vistas surrounding our facility, our staff and community are here to serve your needs.

Lots of room to lanch you boatOur Marina fulfills the needs of the yachting and sport fishing public as a full service facility with gas and diesel refueling, current weather reports; seasonal or transient slip rentals, a computerized advanced reservations system, and acceptance of major credit cards. If you have the need to launch your boat there are four-lit launch ramps and short and long term trailer parking available in the vicinity of the Marina.

Boaters can appreciate the convenience of restrooms, shower, and a laundry located adjacent to the Marina in the Dock Master headquarters. A state of the art fish cleaning station is provided for anglers catching the "big one", and fishing licenses are sold at the office registration desk.

Should you wish to unwind, park benches located on the pier, observation platform and in the greenspace areas in and around the Marina property beckon you. A seat on the outer break wall allows visitors to enjoy the end of an eventful day watching the spectacular sunsets over the limestone bluffs and old growth forests that surround our downtown business district.
